Scorpio
October 23 – November 21
You read people like receipts. Scorpio doesn't do surface; you're either all the way in or you've already left, and nobody can tell which from your face.
About Scorpio
Scorpio does not do the surface. This is the sign that wants to know what's underneath the thing, and then what's underneath that, and what you're not saying. It's not interrogation — though it can feel that way — it's that Scorpio can sense when something doesn't add up, and they'd rather know a hard truth than not know it and feel comfortable. That combination of perception and fixity is why people trust Scorpio with their secrets, and why some people find them intense.
The intensity is consistent. Scorpio doesn't do casual attachment. They may seem closed off early, and they are, because what comes next is all-in. When Scorpio commits to a person or a cause, they go all the way down. Betrayal is the one thing that doesn't really heal here — not because Scorpio is vindictive (sometimes, but that's not the root) but because trust was the whole thing, and breaking it changes the fundamental nature of what existed.
Origin
Scorpius is one of the oldest identified constellations, present in Babylonian records around 2000 BCE as "the creature with a burning sting." In Greek myth, the scorpion was sent by Gaia to kill Orion — which is why Orion and Scorpius are on opposite sides of the sky and never appear together in the night. Pluto became associated with Scorpio in modern astrology because both involve what lies beneath the surface, endings and transformation. The traditional ruler was Mars, which Scorpio still shares with Aries — but in Scorpio the force goes inward rather than forward.

Love
Trust is your currency and you don't do refunds. When you finally let someone in, it's total. Tell them what that costs you. They can't guess.
Career
You thrive where others flinch: crises, negotiations, the uncomfortable truth. People may not always like you, but they call you when it matters.
Health
You hold tension like a state secret. Hips, jaw, and that one spot between the shoulder blades. Water helps. So does saying the thing out loud.
