About Pisces
Pisces lives in two places at once: the world as it is and the world as it could be. Neptune rules here in modern astrology, and there's something genuinely porous about Pisces — they absorb the mood of a room without trying, they pick up feelings that aren't theirs and take a while to realize it, they drift into imaginary worlds in the middle of conversations that have gotten too sharp. This isn't weakness. Pisces processes experience through a different medium than most.
The creativity is real and sometimes enormous. The problem is structure. Pisces can see clearly what they want to create, then float away from the actual work of making it real. Mutable water doesn't hold a shape by itself. What Pisces needs — a deadline, a collaborator, something external to give form to what they can feel but can't always pin down — is the missing piece. When they find it, the output is often remarkable, because Pisces has access to something more grounded signs have to consciously work to reach.
Origin
The two fish in Pisces trace to the Greek myth of Aphrodite and Eros, who transformed into fish and tied themselves together with a cord to escape the monster Typhon, diving into the Euphrates River. That cord connecting the two fish is still part of the constellation's official outline today. In Babylonian astronomy, the fish appear in records as early as 1200 BCE, connected to the goddess Anunitum. The vernal equinox is currently in Pisces — it entered this sign around 68 BCE due to precession and will remain until roughly 2597 CE. Technically, right now, we are still in the Age of Pisces.
